This course is designed to provide students with a comprehensive and overarching knowledge of specific local, regional and international educational regulations and policies in special and inclusive education that affect and provide direction for students, teachers, and administrators. Doctoral students will become experts in local educational regulations and policies. They will develop a deep and broad knowledge base of regional and international regulations and policies of special and inclusive education. Additionally, students will develop, analyze and present educational regulations, policies and procedures that reflect current trends in special and inclusive education. Dimensions of leadership within the context of special and inclusive settings will be emphasized.
